What You Need To Know
About Customer Service at Proboards dot com
Today, after much difficulty trying to even find it, I contacted Customer Service HELP section of the Proboards Social Network, and asked for assistance regarding what code to use which will enable me to add, for example, a ReverbNation Music Player to a post. What I found out, quite honestly, left me slightly astonished!
THERE IS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE OR HELP.
AND HERE IS WHY!
I ended up dealing with a nice enough chap, I'm sure! He responded to me immediately and this is what he wrote to me:

JustAnswer has asked me to answer your question -- "Hello! What code do I use to add, for example, the ReverbNation," -- because it falls within my area of expertise. I just need a few more details about your situation and I will get to work!
Then, a little pop-up box manifested on the screen, and here's what it had to say:
Experts in the Computer Category typically expect a deposit of £28 to answer questions with the specified urgency and detail. You will only pay the Expert if you are 100% satisfied with your answer – our honor system is risk free!
I tried to write Any back! But he was already busy with another client making the very same discovery as myself! After a few clicks, I finally gave up and left! But here is what I tried to write to him:
Wow! Sorry that I wasted your time Andy. Please accept my apology! I had no idea that I would be expected to pay you for what would likely be a satisfactory answer...paying for Customer Service. I would think that Proboards is your Employer, and it is they who should have a contract with you or your company, and that is where your salary should come from. Glad I found this out! I have no way to pay you which is not fair to you. So sorry!
NOT TO MENTION THE FACT THAT EVEN IF I DID HAVE A CREDIT CARD, I CERTAINLY WOULD NOT USE IT FOR A PURPOSE SUCH AS THIS. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH £28 EQUALS IN CANADIAN OR AMERCIAN FUNDS. AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED, NOT ONLY WOULD THESE "COMPUTOR EXPERTS" MAKE MONEY IN THIS FASHION, BUT SO TOO WOULD SOMEONE ELSE, SELLING MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION.
BELIEVE ME, NEVER IN MY LIFE, HAVE I EVER BEEN ASKED TO PAY MONEY FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. NOT EVER. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS EVER HAPPENED TO ME! AND TO BE HONEST, IT IS THE FIRST THING I HAVE FOUND ABOUT PROBOARDS DOT COM, THAT SUCKS THE DOG!
QUESTION:
SINCE WHEN DOES ANYONE P-A-Y FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE???
CONCLUSION:
THERE IS NO HELP OR CUSTOMER SERVICE AT PROBOARDS DOT COM.
UNLESS YOU PAY FOR IT!
WHAT DOES THAT TELL YOU!
BRINGS NEW PERSPECTIVE TO THE SERVICE TERMS & AGREEMENT CONTRACT!!!!!!!
