ACTIVITY EVENT: CHRISTMAS CONTEST.......
RULES:
1. You must be a member of the FemaleGuitarPlayers Channel on YouTube to participate.
2. All video entries must be of a female guitar player.
3. If the video is of a band, there must be at least one female guitar player in the band (guitar, not bass guitar).
4. The video entered must be of a Christmas song, and/or a Christmas themed song.
5. To elaborate, if your song is of the Metal genre, then slap some tinsel on your guitar or show something related to Christmas in the background of your video. You may, for example, add the words "Merry Christmas" by using the text editor to your video in order to give it a Christmas Theme. You can always remove it later. Wear a Santa hat! The point is that the video must have something to do with Christmas in it. Get creative; the more "xmassy" your video is, the better!
6. If you want to enter a female guitar players' video into the contest, and she is not a member here, then please invite her to join first or ask me to recruit her. Only then can the video be entered. This contest is for "members". You will find all the present members in the Subscriptions Box. Please include the video in your note when you contact me.
7. All videos entered must be dated for the year of 2011. This contest seeks new and fresh video content. If you want to enter an older video, please contact me about it first. If the video is of good quality, then I may approve it.
8. If a video you wish to enter has already been entered, then please do not re-enter it again. Please just go and vote on the video already present in the Module.
9. You may enter more than one video. And you may vote on more than one video.
10. If you have any questions, then please ask. If you feel a rule is missing or should be removed, then please contact me. All suggestions are welcome.
11. This Contest is an ACTIVITY EVENT. We are doing this activity to have FUN. Other benefits include: --Increasing your confidence and self-esteem, making new friends, social networking, getting noticed, receiving feedback on your work, getting more hits, ratings and comments, and having a goal.
12. The winner of our Christmas Contest will receive the next "Female Guitar Players FEATURE SPOTLIGHT" beginning on January 01st, 2012!

January 01st, 2011....HAPPY NEW YEAR'S TO ALL FRIENDS AT FEMALE GUITAR PLAYERS!
FEMALE GUITAR PLAYERS CHRISTMAS CONTEST/ACTIVITY EVENT 2011 1. Although a terrific video, and receiving the most votes, dani playing "EUROPA by SANTANA at showcase LIVE" was a video that in fact did not meet the criteria of the contest in any way! Despite this fact, and because our goal here at FGP is to support as many players as is possible, we allowed the video to remain and we hope you all enjoyed her performance! Rock on Dani...your AWESOME! 2. Receiving the second largest amount of votes was Blackie Steele (PlayTheBlood) "Learn How To Play Jingle Bell Rock". 3. In third position was Juli Morgan and her "2011 video Christmas card". This was a great video. However, Juli left the channel and unsubscribed rendering her video entry disqualified. 4. In fourth position was Killian playing and singing her xmas song. A lovely video which captured the Christmas Spirit and a musical work of quality and great effort! The lack of votes on her performance was an insult. 5. Olga singing and playing christmas song on acoustic was also a very nice cultural piece. Again, the lack of votes and support on her video is nothing less than a disgrace. This contest was an absolute failure!      I was very surprised and disappointed by a dire lack of participation on the part of our members. Over the past month another issue was brought to my attention regarding the previous contest, which apparently resulted in a "smear campaign" against Female Guitar Players and the Christmas Contest. Professionalism and mature sportsmanship is expected from our members. ;D We have supported all members and all entries whether they qualified or not and have upheld our Mission Statement in every way.  It is important to be honest about who and what you really are. A disagreement, regardless of its cause, does not merit the deliberate harm that has been manifested towards other hard working Artists. Therefore, and because the true culprit did not have the b.i.t.c.h.d.o.m. to come forward, all previous participants who ended up in the "Singers With Guitars" Folder, have been banned from Female Guitar Players. I never wanted to win this contest. I only wanted to share in it and have fun. ;D Some of you have most childishly taken what is really going on here far too seriously. I have decided to name "Killian" the contest winner, and a video of her choice will be promoted when Crazy Mira's promotion has come to an end.   Sincerely yours...
