NEW FGP CONTEST: Part #01 - For the GUYS!!!

NOTICE TO ALL "MALE GUITAR PLAYERS" WHO SUPPORT US FEMALE PLAYERS:

An invitation! And interesting proposition! And opportunity for promotion and exposure! AND LOTS OF FUN!

FEMALE GUITAR PLAYERS is running another fun competition beginning in October 2012. But we thought we could spice things up a bit by including all of our Male Players and Supporters. Part #01 of the competition will be focused on the guys! We're asking for real live backing tracks created and recorded by you, the guys, for our Ladies to play and solo over for Part #02 of our Contest! This is great support for Female Players and excellent promotion and exposure for you guys!

The backing track can be a new one you create for the contest, or something you've already done for a previously recorded song. You'll get lots of attention and all entries will be shared on all of our websites across the Internet! Perhaps you are interested to see what the Ladies can do with your backing tracks! All video entries for live backing tracks will be uploaded to both Facebook and YouTube so that the Ladies can have easy and fast access. You will also be asked to link your video backing track to our contest video which will be uploaded to our YouTube website. So you're permission must be automatic and no messy entanglements with copyright as you will be given full credit for your work.

I'll be making a competition video that you can link your video to. The more Ladies who choose your backing track and link they're performance video to your video brings you closer to winning the first part of this Contest! This is a really great and fun way for Female Guitar Players and the guys who love and support us to interact, share, and work together! What do you say guys! Anyone interested?

Ladies, you are also welcome to submit a backing track video into the Contest! We just want to make sure that the guys know what they're getting into! LOL

SOME RULES: (YUCK, BUT WE GOTTA!)

FOR BACKING TRACKS
1. Any genre is welcome
2. Any playing level is welcome from Beginner to Advanced Players
3. You may enter as many backing-track videos as you like - the more tracks and variety the better
4. You may collab with your friends to make a backing-track video
5. Entering your video automatically grants me permission to promote it, make MP3's out of it, and provide easy access to your work for our Female Players. We will also make a showcase video at the end of the Contest!
5. Please make sure that your entry is a BACKING TRACK. It must be suitable for Female Players to compose they're own arrangements and solos to it.
6. In your video, you may showcase your Self performing the backing track, or present it as a musical audio only. Creativity is welcome!
7. Please do not upload or provide any performance videos connected to your backing track videos. The Ladies must do they're own work for the Contest! You can upload them when the contest is over so everyone can compare.
8. Please link your entry to this Contest Video.

2. Part #2 of this contest will begin October 15th, 2012.
3. That gives the guys a month and a half to provide backing tracks, but they can still enter them after Part #2 of the Contest has started.

Female Guitar Players No restriction on length of the track. It's up to the Ladies to choose what tracks they like. And some like them short and sweet, and some love them long and ballad like! Thanks for the question as this was something we hadn't thought of!

A rare insight into the madness of a Corvus Stone recording only half done. Some of the best female guitarists will hopefully attempt to complete this by playing awesome guitars all over it and becoming a guest on the album. Who wants to try?
It starts all lovely, then suddenly, for no apparent reason, gets all funky, then... well then it just gets plain silly! Or in other words.. it is Corvus Stone.

Colin Tench, Petri Lemmy Lindström and Pasi Koivu are collaborating on this studio project. Various musical influences are included.
Colin is a member of BunChakeze and Colin Tench Project. Lemmy is an ex-member of Lyijykomppania and a current member of Saturn Twilight and Progeland (he's also included on various other projects). Pasi has had his Psychedelic Eye music project.
