Blackie Steele: Very good!
janbannberg: Awhoo, it is really hot and sticky here...strange weather
Blackie Steele: It's okay; put on your fan is good idea!
Blackie Steele: Your sound is too loud; there is feedback.
janbannberg: Better?
Blackie Steele: I wonder if you need to move the fan; it seems to be coming from it.
janbannberg: No I think this is from the cam. :/
Blackie Steele: Okay. Feedback is growing back up again!
janbannberg: I turned sound off now lol
Blackie Steele: lol okay
Blackie Steele: Sending out a "hello" to the other 2 Viewers here! HELLO!

janbannberg: Thanks for coming, Ian!
IanH13: Hello, this is great so far. I have a few jobs to do, but will keep popping back to see how it's going :-)
janbannberg: I'll go on, it will be more interesting than when I'm typing all the time.
Blackie Steele: Cool, thanks Ian!
janbannberg: Great
janbannberg: For those wondering, I am using a hand brush to clean the piece from eraser fuzzles.
janbannberg: Hands are always a bit greasy, they smudge the graphite.
Blackie Steele: cool
janbannberg: I wll have a short break and give you a look from the front view.
Blackie Steele: Sure Jan; no problem
Blackie Steele: WOW! That is incredible! You blow me away!
janbannberg:
Thank you!
janbannberg: It is not finished yet
Blackie Steele: Yes, I know; but it is still amazing even as is now.
Blackie Steele: Welcome back!
janbannberg: Thanks!
janbannberg: Hope it will not get too boring here!
Blackie Steele: No worries; I am not bored! lol
janbannberg: But it doesn't look like that yet so I just go on
janbannberg: Yeah
IanH13: Hi, back again. It's really coming along now! Should be fantastic once it's finished.
Blackie Steele: He's quite amazing, isn't he!
IanH13: I can't argue LOL!
Blackie Steele: Not at all! lol
janbannberg: Thank you, you two! And everyone else watching!
janbannberg: It is really great to have you here.
Blackie Steele: You're more than welcome, Jan!
Blackie Steele: Who else is here? lol
Blackie Steele: Jan, my self, Ian, and who else?
janbannberg: Don't know
Blackie Steele: hahahahaha! okay!
janbannberg: Just now that I can say this, whenever in the future you maybe say you could not draw - please don't say you couldn't even draw a straight line! I can't do that either!
janbannberg:
Blackie Steele: hahahaha!
Blackie Steele: My son just came in and saw what is going on here! He is quite surprised!
janbannberg: Hahaha! So we are 5 again!
Enjoy, man!
Blackie Steele: haha yep! But he just stepped out to the store but will be back soon!
Blackie Steele: I did not tell anyone about this portrait session. I wanted it to be a spontaneous surprise for everyone!
janbannberg: And it was!
janbannberg: But I guess I chose a bad time to have viewers from your side of the world...
Blackie Steele: Yeah, most people are at work right now!
Blackie Steele: But that's okay Jan; no worries!
janbannberg: I will start a session when it is a better time, in the future
janbannberg: Maybe then with something else than a portrait lol
Blackie Steele: The best time is when you, the artist, is inspired to draw Jan, and that's good enough for me!
janbannberg: Thank-you!
janbannberg: I think I could entitle you the perfect viewer! lol
Blackie Steele: hahaha Thank-you! You're a gem, babes!
Blackie Steele: Hey Jan, do you need to take a break?
janbannberg: Would you like a closer look?
Blackie Steele: yes please
janbannberg: No problem, here you go!
Blackie Steele: I can see the bottom up to my nose! lol
Blackie Steele: that's good
Blackie Steele: wow!
Blackie Steele: Go take a break Jan; you've been working so hard!
Blackie Steele: awh yes, right there
Blackie Steele: yes, there
Blackie Steele: wow
janbannberg: Thanks!
janbannberg: Okay
Blackie Steele: I am really amazed! Just wonderful so far!
janbannberg: I would need my little eraser now, for the hair. I must look for it.
Blackie Steele: Okay! lol
janbannberg: FOund a good alternative instead.
janbannberg: *found
Blackie Steele: very interesting way to add the frets!
janbannberg: Yes I just created it
janbannberg:
Blackie Steele: lol
janbannberg: Think of whhat I said about drawing a straight line!
Blackie Steele: hahaha
Blackie Steele: Drawing a guitar well is not as easy as some people might think!
IanH13: Hello again. Wow, that really is looking good now :-)
Blackie Steele: Hi Ian! I know; he's really blowing my mind!
janbannberg: Hey Ian!
I
janbannberg: I'll turn it around a bit.
Blackie Steele: Amazing Jan! I love it!
IanH13: Yep again, I have to agree :-)
Blackie Steele: Jan has worked so hard Ian. He really is very talented.
IanH13: So how long does it usually take to finish a portrait, Jan?
janbannberg: Well, it depends on the portrait, my mood and the time that I have to do it, but I could say, something between one and seven hours.
janbannberg: I have not worked so detailed or on such a big format that it took me more time yet. ;-)
janbannberg: Mostly, it is like...4 hours.
IanH13: That's a long time LOL!
janbannberg: Well, it feels shorter when you are deep into it and sitting there, drawing, listening to music. Then time flies by.
But yes, it's quite long
janbannberg: It's always about how much detail you want to add.
IanH13: Knowing when to stop I suppose. I'll let you carry on :-)
Blackie Steele: Ian, I watched Jan on his first livestream drawing JImi Hendrix. That was amazing!
janbannberg: Yes, good point! One of the hardest things to decide I've ever seen.
janbannberg:
You can watch it in the 'Video Library' section on my Livestream page here.
IanH13: I will watch later, when i have the time to take it in during one session :-)
janbannberg: Or if you are interested into some other stuff or in seeing the finished Jimi Hendrix, go to my portfolio
janbannberg.daportfolio.comjanbannberg: Nice
You don't have to watch it in realtime
janbannberg: Everyone, I am sorry but I must end today's session. It was great to have you here, thanks Blackie, Ian and nameless viewer, I really appreciate your interest.
janbannberg: Maybe there will be a second stream where I finish the piece, and it will soon be scanned and uploaded to my Drawings section in my portfolio.
janbannberg: See you!
IanH13: It was fascinating watching you work Jan. Wow! :-)
Blackie Steele: Is that so; what a shame! I was so enjoying sharing this. Thank-you Jan! The work is lovely!
janbannberg: Thanks!
janbannberg: Goodbye everyone!
Blackie Steele: Bye Jan, Ian, and nameless viewer!
